Fans show their excitement for God of War: Ragnarok
God of War, the fourth game in the God of War franchise, was released almost four years ago for the PlayStation platform. Since then, it has become one of the most iconic titles for video game lovers. In fact, its success also made Sony bring a PC port earlier this year in January. Not to mention that the PC version has been a massive launch as well.
However, when it comes to the successor to the game, God of War: Ragnarok, then things have been a little different lately. Following the delay announcement in 2021, fans have been more eager to learn what’s going on with the development of the game. Simply put, they want confirmation on the launch date for the awaited entry.
Unfortunately, to their disappointment, Santa Monica hasn’t provided any solid information just yet.
That said, recently, the developer posted a tweet, indirectly related to the upcoming 2022 game. But it wasn’t what the fans were looking for, certainly.
While mentioning the now-iconic father-son duo of Kratos and his son Atreus, the studio asked its followers to respond with their “favorite pair.”

But fans had something else on their mind.
Many users replied back by asking Santa Monica about the official release date for God of War: Ragnarok, which hasn’t been unveiled so far, despite the fact it’s set to arrive in 2022 itself.
Fans just want the latest update on the next God of War and nothing else. “Just give us something already,” wrote one die-hard gaming enthusiast.
