Halo Infinite’s latest merch bundle with LA Lakers (Basketball team) is finally out and fans are extremely excited about it. The Xbox-themed bundle was sold out within a few hours despite the fact that it was only available from the LA store at the Staples Centers. After being sold out officially, the Xbox bundle price on eBay reaches a new height.

Originally, the special merch bundle is retailed at $140 at the store, which is a great deal. However, the bundle is currently priced ten times more than the actual price on eBay thanks to all the scalpers. Halo Infinite’s Halo Lakers bundle is selling for $1,000 on eBay, which is ridiculously high even for a special merch bundle.

A couple of listing on eBay is even more than $1,000. Although there are some sensible and low listings as well, at $510. But, the fact that even such a high price looks sensible right now says a lot about the issue of scalping nowadays.

The real reason behind this crazy response on this merch is the special jersey with number 117 on the back. No doubt the jersey is something really special and unique. It’s a really cool jersey, but is it worth spending $1000 or even more on it? Definitely not. Throw in the custom nature of this bundle with some rare items in it; the bundle definitely looks super classy and with buying for the original price.

The main reason scalpers are so confident with this price is that people are ready to spend that much money on it. No matter how great the bundle is, spending $1000  on it is not needed at all. It’s still unclear if Microsoft is planning to sell this super popular and successful bundle online. Hopefully, the merch will be launched on online stores as well.
