Here comes Sonic Frontiers- the first-ever open zone-inspired ultimate gaming experience for players. Yesterday during the big Game Awards 2021 night, Sega revealed its upcoming brand new title, Sonic Frontiers. From a mesmerizing lake beneath a waterfall to a beautiful field of colorful wildflowers, Sonic Frontiers has it all. As announced previously, this upcoming new project is being handled by the Sonic Japan team.

Sonic’s new adventure will give players all the freedom in the world to explore a stunning open realm with the blue guy. The Starfall Island will feature a lush green environment, sizzling desserts, a waterfall, and much more. After the trailer release, Sega has now released 6 scenery screenshots to give a bit of a sneak peek of the visually stunning world.

This time, rather than just adventuring through a closed area (off zones), our blue guy will have all the freedom to explore an open realm filled with flowers, lakes, waterfall, ruins, grass, and plenty of things to jump through and run past. Definitely, it would be interesting to see what our Hedgehog hero can do in the real world with open zones. It worked pretty well for the movie, right?
