The Entertainment Contents Business has set a long-term goal of becoming a leading global content provider. To achieve this goal and elevate the business to the next level, we are conducting R&D activities to create a “Super Game,” a major title that scales globally, by the fiscal year ending March 2026. Under the current medium-term plan, we are actively investing in reinforcing our earnings base through the global branding of existing IPs”, the report stated. Earlier there were rumors about SEGA planning a big collaboration with Sony for an old IP owned by the PlayStation parent company. If the rumors are to be trusted, Sony is planning a big label with Bandai Namco and SEGA.

However, there being no official confirmation on the ongoing speculations, fans will be excited to come across an official claim. Considering the previous projects of the company, a shooter would be the last guess but what better time to explore new ventures?
