Sentinel’s Valorant Star TenZ Proves Why He Is One of the Best at the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational

The new year has brought a new wave of excitement for the Valorant Community. There are a lot of things planned by Riot Games this year. We witnessed some of them in Episode 6 which was released recently. Players got a new map named Lotus, and Split is back with some changes.

There are huge changes on the Esports front as well. Franchising and invitationals are the topmost blocks in this. And as a part of kicking the season off with style in NA, a Valorant Invitational between Ludwig x Tarik is underway. The event has brought forth some amazing talents and teams, and Sentinels is one of them. After much controversy and changes, Sentinels are back at full strength with their star player TenZ outperforming everybody else.

Valorant: Sen TenZ is back!

The Tarik x Ludwig Invitational is the first major broadcast event in NA this year. The event is massive and is hosted by two popular personalities, Tarik and Ludwig. There are four powerful teams competing against each other in the event: Sentinels, The Guard, T1, and TSM.

Fans got to see Sen TenZ in action after a long while. Sentinels have been under the crossfire for a long time since they fell off the competing circle last year. The first-ever Masters winners ran a rough patch in 2022 until finally, the team decided to let go of many of its former players.

At present, only one gamer from the Masters roster remains in the starting squad. It is none other than TenZ. There are surely a lot of expectations from the talented star. It will be interesting to see how he copes with the changes that were brought to his main agent Chamber.

TenZ surprised the fans with the Kayo pick

Sentinels played their first match against TSM. The long-standing rivalry finally had a showdown. All eyes were on TenZ to see his pick in Fracture as Chamber was brutally nerfed.

Kayo was his choice and it came as a shock to many. But, hardcore TenZ fans knew that he might go for Kayo as he has been seen streaming with the agent for a while now. He showed an impeccable display as an initiator.

The next map brought back the vintage TenZ. He was back on Jett and what gameplay it was! He went on to take 32 kills in Pearl. In the two maps, TenZ’s tally was 48 kills!

The second match was against The Guard. The well-experienced Guard was able to defeat the newly formed Sentinels’ side. But they did not give up easily and put up an amazing fight. The match went to overtime and The Guard won 16-14. But TenZ took 31 kills and showed the world that he is back.

The Sentinels side has only recently started scrimming together, and if they keep up this level of gameplay, they will surely be a force to be reckoned with in the Americas League.
