In the world of online internet culture, two of the most renowned faces are YouTube top dog, MrBeast, and the legendary animated movie franchise, Shrek. When the studio behind the green fantasy-comedy series gave its rights to the eccentric YouTuber, chaos was sure to ensue.

Getting the rights for the IP, Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast made the craziest collaboration possible. Jimmy not only possesses a huge YouTube empire but also multiple retail businesses, including a massive fast-food retail chain, Beast Burger, where he made green Quesadillas, as a tribute to Shrek. 

Should MrBeast make the green Quesadillas a staple in the menu?

After getting the rights, Jimmy took 100 people as test tasters for his new innovation. To see how people react to Shrek Quesadillas and if it’s any good, Jimmy set up a giant whiteboard where he kept track of the people who likes it and the “idiots” who disliked it. The experiment was highly successful. 

Among the hundred testers, only two of them expressed distaste towards the Quesadillas. One of them was MrBeast’s own crewmate, Chandler, who was playing a prank by cutting in the line and pretending to be a customer just to put hate on the board. And the other one was a kid who bit into the wrapper and said it wasn’t good. 

The Quesadillas got whopping 98% positive reviews. At the end of the video, MrBeast “shilled” his viewers as he said, he will also be launching a Shrek-inspired merch line and the green Quesadillas, but only for a limited time. The Shrek Quesadillas will only be available to order online.

Many had the thought, why doesn’t Jimmy make this item a staple in the Beast Burger menu? But according to the speculations, the main reason why the Green Quesadillas may not be available on the menu forever is the restrictions of IP’s rights policy. DreamWorks may have given Jimmy the right for the character for a limited time, which is why every Shrek X MrBeast is a limited-time item. 

New Feastables Bar is inspired by Beast Burger

In Beast Burger, the menu has an item inspired by each of MrBeast’s friends, like the Chandler style, Chris style, and so on. Following this tradition, Jimmy has launched a brand, Feastables Bar, that is inspired by one of his closest friends Karl Jacobs. This product is called, Karl Gummies.
