EA Sports FC 24 has been making the headlines since its announcement. With the game being the devs’ first non-FIFA title in over three decades, speculations on what to expect are running wild. The gameplay trailer also showed a lot of promising details that fans have been waiting to try out themselves. The official reveal stream from July 14 put a lot of emphasis on triangles in the upcoming game, which has significant changes to the franchise and the gameplay.

The reveal also gave away important details about the release date, prices of the different editions, the Ultimate Team and much more. Taking the stage, EA Sports‘ CEO Andrew Wilson talked about how soccer has remained an integral part of his life and how that shaped his and the company’s determination to make EA Sports FC 24 a unique game. With a lot to take in from the video, here are all the details that you should know before the game’s release in September this year.

Release date and prices for the EA Sports FC 24

EA Sports FC 24 drops on September 2023. However, if you purchase the Ultimate Edition, you get to access the game a week earlier. This undoubtedly will be an added attraction for the long-time FIFA fans who can’t wait to see what’s new on the rebranded title.

The regular or Standard Edition will be available at $59.99, while the Ultimate Edition will sell for $89.99. However, Ultimate Edition for consoles will be priced at $99.99, while the Standard Edition console version will cost $69.99. Both of the two versions are likely to offer a lot of new features to players, with the Ultimate Edition coming with some added bonuses. Features included in the regular version are likely to be,

The recommended system requirements for the EA Sports FC 24 aren’t something out-of-world for the current generation of gamers. So, you won’t need to fret even if your system doesn’t match all the requirements.

This is the recommended settings as claimed by EA Sports. However, an 8GB RAM will also be sufficient for running the game smoothly so you can get those slide tackles spot-on. The minimum system requirements for the EA Sports FC 2024 are,

At the Reveal showcase, CEO Wilson also unveiled the cover art for the EA Sports FC 24, and it didn’t fail to impress the fans present at the event. The Standard Edition will feature Erling Haaland on the cover. The Manchester City striker have made a bunch of records with the club in the very first season he was signed. MCFC fans would definitely flex the cover art as they still relish the winning of the Treble.

The Ultimate Edition will star many more players of the current generation as well as some of the legends of the game including Pelé, Zinedine Zidane, Johan Cruyff, Andrea Pirlo, Ronaldinho, and David Beckham. The cover art looks stunning, and if the in-game characters are as good, we’re sold!

For the first time, female players will star in the Ultimate Team

As a step towards including more fans of the game, Wilson also announced that female players will grace the Ultimate Team for the first time ever. Female soccer has become incredibly popular with more and more mainstream clubs having pro teams competing in domestic and international tournaments.

Over the last few editions of FIFA, EA Sports have been adding more and more women’s football features in the games. In the upcoming EA Sports FC 24, some of the biggest stars of women’s football will also be seen on the cover art, including Sam Kerr, Selma Bacha, Trinity Rodman, Alexia Putellas and Alexandra Popp.

Not only that, Spanish and Dutch pro-women’s leagues will also be available to play in EA Sports FC 24. In previous FIFA titles, players have spent thousands of hours trying to make their own Ultimate Teams take on others. The female footballers will also be available for players to add in their Ultimate Teams in EA Sports FC 24.

New challenges wait

A lot of new obstacles and challenges are set to keep fans busy for quite some time, CEO Wilson revealed at the showcase. The Ultimate Team Evolutions will allow your ultimate squad to get even better as you complete individual player challenges and level up with achievements. Not only that, but the EA Sports FC ALSO 24 will have a new feature where the devs claim that real on-field moments will be set up for players to recreate in the game as challenges. This will surely keep the perfectionists glued to the screens.
