God of War PC: what more to expect

Sony’s decision has made the whole PC gaming community excited, and fans already can’t wait to get their hands on this game. The developers too are also very excited about this release and are hoping to make the port a successful one. Here’s what the sr. community manager, Grace Orlady had to say about the release.

We’re thrilled to announce that God of War (2018) will be coming to PC on January 14, 2022! All of us at Santa Monica Studio have been humbled by the immense amount of support and passions fans of the God of War series have shown in the latest chapter of Kratos’ story since its release.

According to Grace Orland, the goal is to deliver a high-performance gaming experience. The PC version will have high-quality shadows with enhanced ambient occlusion for better visuals. The game will also support DLSS on the RTX series GPU; however, nothing has been confirmed yet about the ray tracing feature. Whatever the case, fans can expect some mind-blowing graphics from this game.

The studio has collaborated with Nvidia to deliver Reflex low latency technology, which will enhance the in-game combat reflexes. Along with the other graphical improvements, the game also supports 21:9 wide-screen visuals.

The PC version will support a lot of controllers, including DualSense wireless and DualShock 4 controllers. The key bindings for keyboard users will be fully customizable and fans can create a setup according to their convenience.

God of War is going to be a great addition to the PC library, following the success of Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Days Gone.
