If you are a PlayStation 5 user who finds the current controller designs quite bland, consider your prayers answered. In a recent tweet, Sony unveiled two new colors that the DualSense 5 controller will be available in.

The tweet describes the two new colors as Cosmic Red and Midnight Black. According to Sony’s blog, ” Midnight Black features two subtly different shades of black with light grey detailing to reflect how we view space through the night sky, and Cosmic Red offers a striking black and red design inspired by the unique vivid shades of red found throughout the cosmos.”

Starting next month, fans will be able to get their hands on these new designs. While the exact date of release will vary from place to place, the latest updates on its availability will be posted on Sony’s official site.

First and foremost, Haptic feedback will replace the plain old rumble pack found in controllers across many generations of gaming. The DualSense includes actuators that give a player a more tangible, adaptable feedback to better immerse players in a game.
