Sony is aware of the large number of demands for the PS5; come up with a fascinating solution to end the year on a high note for some customers. PlayStation, in their official announcement, disclosed the special plans. Over the holiday season, the company will have limited stock and they’re giving US-based customers a chance to register to receive an invitation from the company.

Interestingly, the selections will not be coin flip. They will be based on past PlayStation activities and other similar inquiries. PlayStation will start sending the invitations from the month of November and will contain all the necessary details.

Since the number of consoles is limited, the company intends to have a set timeline, expiration date, and quantities of products with each invite. Receiving an invitation will not guarantee and PS5 console.

Sadly, for fans residing outside the US, the opportunity is only available if the shipping address is within the country. PlayStation 5 celebrates its first anniversary on November 12, 2021.
