

Sony is leaving no stone unturned in boosting the hype for its highly anticipated PlayStation VR2, the successor to its well-received predecessor. The next version will probably come up with tons of improvements, but Sony just made them official.

In a new blog post, PlayStation mentioned all the top features PSVR2 will boast of upon its launch. Not to mention that virtual reality gaming fans are already hyped for this product.

Fans give thumbs up to PlayStation VR2 as Sony reveals major changes and new features
Speaking of the new additions, then the official blog from PlayStation reveals a ‘See Through View’ in PSVR2. Users will be able to view their surroundings while wearing the headset. It can be a life-saving feature, especially when trying to search the controllers in the room even while wearing the headset.
This mode can be activated by pressing the function button in PSVR2 or using the “Card in the Control Center”.

Next up is self-broadcasting while playing the games. A new feature will be introduced in PlayStation VR2 that will allow the users to film themselves while enjoying their favorite titles. This will be possible by connecting a PS5 HD camera to the console.
Talking about the modes, then there will be a cinematic mode. This mode will offer “VR game content in a 360 view in a virtual environment”. The main content will be rendered in a resolution of 4000 x 2040 HDR video format (2000 x 2040 per eye). The frame rate will vary between 90Hz and 120Hz.
