The student used Midjourney, an AI art generator tool, to create the artwork in the game. Yoshida stated, “in the future, AI could develop interesting animations, behaviours, even do debug for your program.” That said, the future is arriving soon, as ChatGPT is now able to fix code and rewrite them.

AI can change the game industry’s functioning

Although, many game developers and graphic designers have opposed the use of AI in gaming. The recent campaign ‘No to AI-Generated Art’ gained a lot of support in the gaming industry. Yoshida, however, had some views contrary to popular belief. “It is a tool. Someone has to use the tool,” he said, supporting the use of AI.
