Sony’s massive PlayStation 5 Showcase is something everyone gets very excited about. Fans have been wondering what the next showcase will bring. Interestingly, many of them have a notion of what the list might include.

Amidst the rumors and leaks, there are sure to be some facts. This means we might end up witnessing some really surprising and epic games during this upcoming event. The best part is, this showcase might not be very far now, as its possible window may have already leaked!

The date for the upcoming PlayStation 5 showcase is reportedly leaked

PS5 fans are all set for an exciting second half of this year. They will be getting at least few really exciting games that will use the full power of the mighty console. One of them is the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI, while the other one is Spider-Man 2. The latter is rumored to launch in September 2023.

While these games are a sure thing, there are some other titles as well not many are aware of. But they are expected to be present during the leaked showcase. And many of these games have been revealed by a recent tweet from a popular scooper.

VikingNilsen sent out a tweet talking about the games he thinks would be present during the showcase and an expected date for it as well. He mentioned that the event will happen sometime “In the Week of 25 May”. Furthermore, he also mentioned a bunch of stuff that would be revealed during the showcase.

The big surprise is that this list does not have any new PlayStation 5 models. Also, it doesn’t include the Bloodborne remake either. But it did have a PlayStation handheld console, an earbud, and games like Spider-Man 2, Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake, and a fresh horror game by Konami.

This horror game is sure to be one of those Silent Hill titles that were recently announced. On the other hand, the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is being talked about a lot nowadays. There can be only one of these two things: either VikingNilsen is piggybacking on all the recent rumors, or there’s some truth in his tweet.

Fans are expecting much more from the upcoming showcase. But this list seems too short for an event of this size. It has to be seen how things play out eventually. It appears the only thing fans have actually got from the tweet, above, is a possible date.
