Spider-Man 2 is one of the most popular games of the season. There’s no doubt that Insomniac Games and Sony PlayStation have put in a lot of work to get to these heights. Every person on the game’s developer team seems to have worked tirelessly to design a game with such depth. And if a recent interview with the game’s director, Bryan Intihar, is anything to go by, Insomniac Games has much more planned for Spider-Man 2!

In a recent podcast, the director of PlayStation 5’s latest show, Spider-Man 2, hinted at something very big. It appears the developer is planning to bring a big new addition to this game’s list of superheroes, Daredevil!

Spider-Man 2’s director might have hinted at Daredevil’s entry into the game!

The game is out, and it’s getting rave reviews. Fans everywhere cannot stop playing the game and taking snapshots using its incredible photo mode. In terms of funk and style, Spider-Man 2 is hardly missing out on anything. In terms of story, this might be one of the best stories ever told in a superhero game. And finally, in terms of the cast of characters, this game has aplenty; from Harry Osborn to the Sandman, everyone is here. Yet, developers are planning one more addition.

A recent podcast with Spider-Man 2’s director Bryan Intihar has hinted at the possibility of Daredevil being the main focus of its DLC. While most of the podcast passed on without any surprises, at the very end, Bryan simply said “Where is Daredevil?”. After this, the podcast abruptly ended, and listeners were left stumped by this mind-blowing hint.

Fans have instantly started speculating that one of two things is about to happen. Either the developers have decided to bring Daredevil as one of the main characters in Spider-Man 2’s upcoming DLC, or he would have some sort of cameo.

This cameo would then work as a teaser for a standalone daredevil game. These are just speculations, but it would be interesting to see what direction the developer takes here.

However, there is no mention of the upcoming Wolverine game

While the conversation hardly focuses on anything else, Spider-Man 2’s developers are seemingly ignoring every Wolverine-related question for now. The game is next in line for Insomniac Games, and it would be a good thing if fans got some sort of new information about it.

There’s no doubt about one thing though: before Insomniac says even a word about Wolverine, they would first want to finish the DLC for Spider-Man 2. They wouldn’t want to bite more than they could chew.
