PlayStation fans have enjoyed tons of interesting and amazing titles so far since the console made its debut years ago. Now that the latest generation of this popular device is available, the quality of games themselves have also vastly improved. That said, currently, there are actually several PS IPs that have managed to hold their spots in players’ libraries.

According to the latest report, 2020’s Ghost of Tsushima recently made its move, even more closer to 10 million lifetime sales. It’s getting nearer to the mark going by the recently revealed data. And with that, it also joins other top-selling PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 IPs already ruling the list, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man, The Last of Us, and God of War.

Twitter account ‘Zuby_Tech‘ is widely known for sharing accurate leaks and major news when it comes to gaming. Recently, the account mentioned a key milestone that Ghost of Tsushima achieved since its release. The Sucker Punch blockbuster has now sold 9.73 million units worldwide in two years of its launch on the PS4 and PS5.

Along with this fact, Zuby_Tech also shared a chart of the current PlayStation games featured in the best-selling list. One thing to note is that the list is only applicable for PS5 and PS4 titles. With that being said, Marvel’s Spider-Man IP from Insomniac Games is the king right now for the current-gen consoles. Together, both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales have sold 33 million units so far.

Moving further, 2013’s original The Last of Us is the second-highest selling game for the PlayStation 4 and 5. Naughty Dog‘s iconic title has sold 20 million units across the globe. Surprisingly, Horizon Zero Dawn is in the third position, ahead of God of War. The game featuring the protagonist of Aloy has also sold 20 million copies so far.

On the other hand, Santa Monica’s 2018 blockbuster God of War has sold 19.5 million units since its debut four years ago. Currently, the franchise lovers are waiting for its extremely hyped sequel, Ragnarok.

In the fifth position is another Naughty Dog title in 2016’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, with 16 million sold units. Then comes the sequel to The Last of Us in the sixth position with 10 million sales.

Ghost of Tsushima is in the seventh spot with 9.73 million units since its launch in 2020. The game is reported to come out on PC as well, but there’s been no official announcement regarding the release date.

Hideo Kojima‘s one-of-its-kind adventurous title Death Stranding, from 2019, is in the eighth position. It has managed to sell 5 million units for the PlayStation 5 and PS4.
