With the Miles Morales game, Miles really came into his own as Spider-Man, which makes his part in the sequel all that more important. With the relationship he has with Peter, he will be instrumental in bringing Peter away from the effects of the symbiote.

Apart from this, the presence of Miles seems reassuring for Peter, as he has someone to share the workload with. It is not easy being Spider-Man, after all. An extra hand would take Peter places and that is precisely where Miles comes in. It will be interesting to see their dynamic over the course of the sequel. Once the game finally releases on October 20th, it will all be revealed!
