They are planning the arrival of Persona games as well as the Yakuza series to Xbox through Xbox Game Pass. And now a recent update on the official website for Final Fantasy 14: Realm Reborn suggests something very special is coming to Xbox.

Square Enix announces Final Fantasy 14: Realm Reborn Open Beta for Xbox consoles

Final Fantasy 14: Realm Reborn is one of the most popular and successful MMORPGs out there. The game has had a successful run ever since its inception in 2010. It has been released on pretty much every major console besides the Nintendo Switch, and it has only grown over the years. This success is credited to Square Enix’s focus on continuously improving this game and updating it for every oncoming generation.

Keeping up with this tradition, they have announced a brand-new update for this MMORPG and have announced that it will get an open beta on Xbox consoles. Besides every other thing mentioned on the website, one section specifically said, “FINAL FANTASY XIV is coming to Xbox in Spring 2024, and to prepare for its debut, we’ll be holding an open beta test during the Patch 6.5x cycle. Enjoy faster loading times on both consoles and crystal-clear 4K resolution on the Xbox Series X!”
