Square Enix had announced the release of two games in this year’s Game Awards. Forespoken is coming next year in May while Final Fantasy 7 and Integrade will be hitting Epic Games Store from next week.

The PC Gaming community is furious with this decision and multiple posts sprang up on Reddit and other social media sites resenting this. This business decision sounds quite absurd on part of Square Enix given they are already financially quite sound.

When NBA 2k21 was announced, the game cost $70 for next-gen consoles. Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick affirmed on this by saying, “We think with the value we offer consumers…and the kind of experience you can really only have on these next-generation consoles, that the price is justified.”
