This year has seen a lot of blockbusters already and the rest of 2022 is yet to offer all that it has in store. The latest hit seems to be the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga from Traveller’s Tales.

According to the newly revealed details, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga just became the number one selling game on Steam for the past week. While doing so, it also outperformed previous crown holder, the one and only, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring.

Lego Star Wars takes the number one spot on Steam’s list of top sellers!

The brand new title is the the sixth entry in the series of Lego Star Wars games from its developer, with Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment being the publisher. Furthermore, it’s based on all the nine films in the Skywalker series. Plus, it’s a direct sequel to the previous installment, The Force Awakens.

So far, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker has received mostly positive reviews from majority of the critics.

Meanwhile, according to SteamDatabase website, the latest Lego offering is now the number one selling title as well on Steam. It recently made its anticipated debut for multiple platforms across the globe. Thus, witnessing an opening as the top seller is surely a huge achievement for its developing team.

Due to this result, FromSoftware’s masterpiece and phenomenal blockbuster Elden Ring slipped to the third spot. Generally, the open world fantasy RPG has been the top selling game on Steam ever since its record launch in late February. But this time, it couldn’t do much as most of the players opted for the newest Lego Star Wars release.
