In a recent interview, Howard talked about how he visualizes a world where more players can access their favorite games on more platforms than one. Both Howard and Phil Spencer, the Xbox boss, think the industry can grow only if there is less friction among the developers and publishers.

While Starfield is available only on Xbox and PC, they both agree that walled-off content is a barrier to the growth of the industry. Only by finding a common ground can such things be reduced, they believe.

Howard shares insights into what went into making Starfield

While powering up is the primary focus of most games like these, Starfield aims to focus on something that has kept humans puzzled for eternity. Starfield puts players in a position where you have to question yourself. Making a decision and then sticking to it: Starfield will ask you questions that will make you take a pause to think about it.
