No doubt Starfield is an insanely detailed game; the attention to detail in this game is unmatched by most games released this year. What’s even better is the amount of freedom it gives its players. Players are already spending loads of hours customizing characters, recreating popular faces like Stallone, Obama, and Willem Dafoe. Now, players are building ships with unique customization too.
This is pretty evident from the fact that one player has gone and built themselves a lifelike replica of the Batwing in Starfield. And we would tell our readers how they can do the same.

To build any kind of customized design in Starfield, one must first understand one thing: it would give you the design you want, but players might miss out on performance here and there. Now that this disclaimer is out of the way, let’s start with the building.

Accessing the ship customization
To start customizing one’s starship, the player should visit New Atlas, and just where they land, they will see the Ship Service Tech. They have to start a dialogue with them and select the “I’d like to view and modify my ship” option.
Getting rid of the extras
This step might seem a little complicated, but it’s not if one just keeps an eye on how their ship looks. Just remove your ship’s landing gear first. Then do the same for shield generators as well as any cosmetics you might have around that area.
Move a little lower to remove the disrupter beam too, along with the ship’s weapon mount.
All in all, one must remove everything until they are left with the cockpit and main ship unit.

Adding the necessary parts
Now that all the clutter is removed, players must start adding things to their ship. They can start by adding the following things:
- Engine: White Dwarf 2000
- HABS: Deimos Companionway 1×1
- More HABS: 2 Deimos All-in-One Berth 2X1 on each side of the ship and Deimos Companionway 1X1 on each side to add 2 more A-in-One Berth 2X1 on both sides; this would make the wings.
- Wing Structural: Add Deimos Wing A-Port to either side of your ship and invert them to add a couple on the back side of the ship too.
- Engine: Add the Amun-2 Engine in between the wings of this ship
- Structural: Attach 2 Nova Cowling 2L-PF on the front end of the ship
- Shield Generator: Attach the 20S Protector Shield Generator on top of your ship
- Then go ahead and attach two landing gears to each of the wings
- Add Cowling 1K-TF to the middle part of the top of your ship. If you do it all right, your ship should look something like the image above.
- Finally, color the whole ship jet black, and your batwing is complete. Just take it for a round to strike fear in the hearts of any pirate out there.

But be mindful that you do not start dogfighting with other ships, as this particular Batwing is built mostly out of sleeping berths.
