Fans are enjoying Starfield to the fullest, so much so that it has now become one of Bethesda’s most successful games of all time. It has also succeeded in becoming the most profitable game for Microsoft ever since they purchased Bethesda.
But just like any other Bethesda game before it, Starfield suffers from a number of bugs and glitches. What’s even worse is that people are using these glitches as exploits to get rich quickly and effectively ruin the game’s purpose. It looks like Bethesda has noticed, and they have released a patch to rectify this problem. Let’s take a look at every change patch 1.7.33 brings to Starfield.

1. General changes made in Starfield 1.7.33
- This patch fixes the glitch where some characters would not appear in their default locations, halting the progression.
- Fixed the issue where the game mistakenly marked star stations as player-owned ships.

- Fixed the glitch that allowed players to access the complete inventory of vendors.
2. Graphical changes
- AMD Specific: Fixed an issue that made star lens flayers appear incorrectly to players if they have AMD GPUs installed.
- Graphic: Fixed a graphic issue that made textures appear blurry after upscaling.
- Graphics: Resolved an issue that could cause photosensitivity issues when scrolling through the inventory menu.
3. Performance and stability changes
- This patch fixes an issue that causes hitching when players are using the hand scanner.
- Various other stability and performance improvements have been made to enhance the player experience and prevent crashes and freezes.
4. Ships
- Fixed an issue that made display items like weapons and armor disappear when players applied them to the mannequins on their ship.
- Fixed an issue that would cause items stored in Razorleaf Storage Containers and Weapon Racks to disappear after commandeering another ship.

It’s a hefty list, and it looks like numerous fans would be having a much better experience after downloading this patch. Some players would not be very happy, though. While it is commendable that Bethesda has decided to introduce these fixes to their game in order to improve the player experience, it would ruin the experience for some.
Some players were literally getting rich in Starfield by exploiting the vendor inventory glitch; this glitch allowed them to access the vendor’s inventories and take everything inside them. The best part about this trick was that it did not even count as stealing, so they could just take that stuff back to the same vendors and sell it to them.

But Bethesda has closed its doors on this exploit. No doubt, players would do their best to find another way to get rich quickly. But it’s over for the time being.
