The dating reality show, Love Island, has been breaking the internet. It is among the most searched keywords on the internet. Even the YouTube sensation MrBeast fails to match the popularity of this reality show. But this famous reality show wanted the famous Twitch streamer Sydeon to join, who almost did it.

Sydney Parker, better known as Sydeon, is a Twitch streamer. She was previously known as Neytiri, but later rebranded to Sydeon in 2020. The African-Swedish American streamer is known for her gaming streams. Further, Parker has been one of the latest addition to the Pokimane-founded organization OfflineTV since November 2021.

During a live stream, the 25-year-old Twitch streamer revealed how she nearly ended up on the dating reality show Love Island. On this show, a group of contestants are left on a deserted island and needs to couple up with fellow contestants.

Further, couples can change their partners due to various reasons later in the show. But if someone remains single, they get eliminated. The last couple to stay on the island wins a grand prize, which they split between themselves.

Sydeon was almost on Love Island

The show has become extremely famous and has over 22 versions. The show is popular for drama and entertainment. Another reason behind Love Island’s popularity is the attractive and good-looking contestants. Undoubtedly, someone like Sydeon is perfect for the show, as she ticks all the requirements for the show.

Sydeon shared during a livestream, “I apply for Love Island, and they loved me. They’re like, oh my gosh, we want to have you on. So, I go through multiple interviews. They give me like the whole run of the show, and they’re like, we’re gonna be on some season you’re gonna come on.”

The 25-year-old further explained how they wanted her to be a “bombshell” on the show, who will come later than the original cast. Then she would have to “stir up all the drama.” However, she “chickens out” because of so many responsibilities. She also shared that the dating reality show’s team still contacts her to be part of it.
