But now, it looks like the devs have stepped up their game, making big announcements for the upcoming tournament. Apparently, they confirmed one of their biggest tournaments to feature the latest Street Fighter title, along with a shiny cash prize for the winner.

CapCom is giving away a million dollars to their tournament winner

On February 20, 2023, CapCom uploaded a fresh post on Twitter. In that, they said, “Capcom Cup X will be played on Street Fighter 6 with the winner receiving a whopping $1,000,000! Who wants to be a millionaire?” And in minutes, thousands of fans hopped on to it, sharing their feelings.

For now, fans have only witnessed a few glimpses here and there, but the final prize is yet to unveil. So, while the cash prize might only be reserved for one player, the entire community is eager to learn what CapCom has in store.
