The upcoming Street Fighter 6 is all set to bring the heat up as the official showcase of the brand-new game has been announced, and it’s going to be hosted by none other than the world-renowned rapper Lil Wayne. The hip and stylized fighting game will be making some serious “waves”.

This upcoming showcase will reveal all the highly anticipated features that are coming in the new game. Fans expect brand-new footage of gameplay, character trailers, modes, and much more. This supposed 30 minutes long event will give fans the definitive look at the game while being hosted by the rapper Lil Wayne.

When will the event begin?

The event will be hosted on April 20. It will be broadcasted on PlayStation’s official YouTube Channel. The timing for the showcase is 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET. The show is reported to last for 30 mins, going through some of the new and fresh additions coming in the franchise, and revealing more official gameplay footage.

Who is going to host the event?

The Event will be hosted by rapper Lil Wayne aka Weezy. In the online preview, Wayne said, “We’re talking new ways to fight, crazy new game modes, and some big announcements. Stay tuned, it’s about to be crazy,” he continued to hype the showcase by adding there will be “some big announcements at the end of the show.”

What can we expect?

There have been a lot of expectations regarding the upcoming showcase. Many believe the showcase will be touching upon the new World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground modes. Some fans even believe the broadcast may share the looks and gameplay of all the characters that are about to join the roster of SF 6.

The base game will include Luke, Zangief, Lily, Cammy, Ryu, Chun-Li, Jamie, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Dee Jay, Manon, Marisa, and JP. According to some speculations, the upcoming showcase may talk about all the characters coming in the future battle passes and more. SF 6 will release worldwide on June 6, 2023.
