After Resident Evil 4, mercenary mode became a norm in Resident Evil games. Most games afterward included this mode and gave the developers a good way to expand the replayability of those games.

The latest trailer of Resident Evil Remake ends with a look at the game’s mercenary mode. This is an exciting prospect for long-time fans of the series.

Capcom has also added a bunch of new things to this game to keep things fresh for gamers. Gameplay mechanics have been refreshed and a bunch of new ones has been added. Players can now parry incoming attacks and stealthily take down enemies. And they can even hold multiple knives in their belt.

They have even introduced a new weapon case mechanic; which allows players to use different kinds of cases that give them different gameplay bonuses.
