Talking about the event itself, the Evil Ryu Spirit will be its main attraction. For the uninitiated, Evil Ryu first made an appearance in Street Fighter Zero manga. After that, the character also made a debut in the games, beginning with Street Fighter Alpha 2.

As far as Capcom is concerned, it came up with the announcement for Street Fighter’s 35th anniversary just recently. It even had a brand new logo for this grand occasion.

The latest event makes a lot of sense as well since both the characters of Ryu are also playable in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. It implies that players will have a blast with the delightful event starting this week.
