Switch Fans Express Distress as Nintendo Revive Exclusive Kirby and the Forgotten Land Item

Nintendo Switch is one of the most famous handheld consoles these days. So, the Japanese video company is doing its best to impress the fans and offer more to the fans.
The Big N came up with many custom icons from famous games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Splatoon 2, Super Mario, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land earlier this year. It became a hit among the fans who loved to collect these custom icons.

Recently, the Japanese game company announced that the Nintendo Switch Online subscribers would get a chance to claim custom icons from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Further, the elements of these custom icons will be refreshed each week. This custom icon giveaway will continue till 6 PM Pacific Time on August 27.

While it seemed like an excellent opportunity to offer fans some custom Kirby icons. But the plan didn’t go as Nintendo planned. Most fans were unhappy about the giveaway as they didn’t want Kirby icons. Instead, they asked Nintendo to release custom icons from other games like Xenoblade and Bayonetta.

Nintendo Switch games releasing in 2022
It’s the month of July, and already half of the year 2022 has gone. Fans will soon get to play the new Nintendo Switch game Xenoblade 3 on July 28. The famous platform battle royale game, Fall Guys, got ported to this handheld console earlier. However, it was not the end of the game releasing this year.

Two Point Campus will release on the handheld console next month. Further, multiple new games will join the Nintendo Switch catalog in the coming months, like Splatoon 3, No Man’s Sky, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, and Sonic Frontiers.
Many games will release this year but still don’t have an official release date. Most-awaited games like Bayonetta 3, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Return to Monkey Island, and Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals would release this year but don’t have a release date yet.
