Epic Games is currently battling Apple in court over a disagreement about sharing revenues. The studio also revealed many vital details about its future plans with Fortnite. SypherPK believes these revelations are actually prominent content that will be added with Season 7.

This range of collaborations ranged from live concerts, promising skin bundles to new game mode. Safe to say, Epic Games is looking beyond the Battle Royale mode, as it continues to develop the game.

The studio revealed its plans to host live concerts, and more collaboration. However, things could not take place as the studio wanted, as the limited production capabilities forced them to delay things. Epic Games has now rolled out Neymar Jr’s skin, which was originally aimed for a 2020 release. Now, the recent revelations have shed light on more collaborations that being worked on.

Similarly, the studio also shared plans about the addition of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, LeBron James, John McClane from Die Hard, and many other collaborations. Last year. Fortnite hosted a record-breaking event with Travis Scott’s Astronomical concert. The event amassed a record-breaking 12.3 million concurrent viewers, which was only beaten by the fight Galactus event.

Taking notes from the success of this event, Epic Games wanted to organize another musical concert in 2021. It was going to feature pop music icons in Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. The studio was also looking to expand the title beyond the Battle Royale game mode, as Apex Legends has done recently with its latest season.

The plans had included a brand new survival mode for Fortnite, that would work similarly to Minecraft. The title already holds everything it truly needs to come up with an elaborate map, resources, and mobs that would be sufficient for such a mode.
