Recently, five of the biggest Fortnite creators in the world, SypherPK, Ninja, CouRageJD, NICKMERCS, and TimTheTatman, confirmed their upcoming massive project, “Project V.” It is a creator-led venture to develop a Battle Royale game using the latest Fortnite creative tool, UEFN, aka Creative 2.0.
Ever since the introduction of UEFN in Fortnite, the creative minds of the community have been flocking together to make astonishing maps and worlds. However, with the combined backing of five massive influencers, Project V is on its way to becoming the biggest creative project on Fortnite, and recent reveals suggest it will be a completely unique experience.

While UEFN, or Unreal Editor for Fortnite, presents a lot of creative freedom and tools for the community’s disposal, it also has many restrictions. The current version of the creative tool doesn’t have enough resources to let the creators change the game’s mechanics as they please. But the creators behind Project V are highly optimistic that this won’t be an issue in the future.
On April 29, 2023, SypherPK shared some behind-the-scenes information on the project in a Twitter thread. When a fan asked, “im not sure how the uefn works but how different from Fortnite can it get if it’s still a creative map inside of Fortnite?” Sypher replied, “Right now in UEFN you can’t change the mechanics that much. However, by 2024 UEFN should have a lot more features to make something that doesn’t feel like Fortnite.”
