So for someone as big as MrBeast, dating is not a simple task. So he made his girlfriend face some tests to meet high standards when they first met. The YouTuber is currently dating the South Africa-born Thea Booysen. She is an author and a gaming streamer on Twitch.

MrBeast put his girlfriend through a tough test

The YouTuber once appeared on a podcast with Flagrant. There they asked him about how he met Thea Booysen. Donaldson shared he met her in Cape Town. Within 5 seconds of meeting her, he thought Booysen was beautiful. So, he had her go through tests, as he didn’t get along with women easily.

MrBeast further explained his reasons, saying, “If like they don’t love learning, they’re not obsessive, they don’t have a hobby. There are just certain things where, if you have these traits, we get along really well. And if you don’t, it’s impossible for us to hang out.”

MrBeast revealed asking her about her work when they first met. So Booysen answered she’s an author, which impressed the YouTuber. As he continued the session, he discovered her interest in learning and that she has multiple degrees. Moreover, she got a neuroscience degree for fun.

Donaldson shared that after knowing Thea, he discovered she checks all his boxes and is a nerd like him. He also explained their ideal date scenario, “For us now, like an idea of a date is just to take an IQ test and then study and see if we can get it higher like this. I love it.”
