Levesque plays around the idea of good and evil through the usage of colors. Under normal lights, the picture looks seem fascinating, especially since there are two people who seem to fade into one another. Turn on specific lights and you see the magic happen. The blue and green lights place the focus on Captain Price and Task Force 141, essentially the good guys. However, once you turn on the red light, you are greeted with a different picture! This one has Makarov and a wolf baring its fangs. Interestingly, Levesque placed Price and Makarov in a way that shows which side they are on. Price looks at the viewer, indicating his work to save the people while Makarov simply looks away.

Levesque went on to explain the way he created his art and the ideas behind it. “The way I make this work is I create several drawings in a way that to the eye looks interesting in normal light. Under colored light, each channel is brought forward. Under blue light and green light, you have our hero. It was a no-brainer to put Price in those color schemes. And in red light, we have our evil villain Makarov.”
