Combat fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of Bandai Namco’s upcoming title Tekken 8. This latest entry in the Tekken series comes after a long wait of eight years. With positive feedback on the closed network test of the game, fans would be excited to know any new details about the upcoming title.

And it looks like the roster of Tekken 8 is out, thanks to the efforts of a data miner. However, whether or not the complete list of leaked characters will be present in-game is still up in the air.

Fan leaks a list of unannounced characters with the help of Cheat Engine

A Tekken 8 fan recently used Cheat Engine to data mine the game files of the upcoming game. By doing so they uncovered a list of characters that may be making their way in the latest Tekken title. The player data mined the build of the closed network test on PlayStation 5. And their findings show a long list of characters along with some unannounced ones, found thanks to a Reddit post.

The list contained the following unannounced characters which has piqued the curiosity of fans.

• Yoshimitsu (Tekken)
• Steve (Tekken 4)
• Raven (Tekken 5)
• Zafina (Tekken 6)
• Alisa (Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion)
• Shaheen (Tekken 7)

However, fans believe the list leaked by the fan is incomplete as some announced characters are missing from the list. But it should be noted that the fan scoured the closed network test build of the game. Bandai Namco would not have added the missing characters in this build.

This also implies that the characters which have made the appearance in this data mine might not make it to the final version of the game. The developers at Bandai Namco might be testing those characters.
