Hogwarts Legacy is currently one of the most played games in the Esports circle right now. With an intriguing wizardly world filled with multiple quests, the game surely is one to try. Moreover, it is based on the Harry Potter universe. And this connection can be spotted all over the game.

There are numerous Easter eggs hidden in the new game which players can find. These are subtle to outright indicators of many ideas we have seen in the Harry Potter narratives. So here are ten of such Easter Eggs that you gotta try out in Hogwarts Legacy.

Remember the time Draco Malfoy sneaked in those death eaters to the Hogwarts Campus? He used the Vanishing cabinet as his Trojan horse to bring them into the school. This very item can be found within the game as well. When players are in the Room of Requirements, Potterheads will feel that it’s sort of identical to the film version. But, if you check the items stuffed in there, you can spot the Vanishing Cabinet sitting in plain sight.

9) The Umbridge Rules 

One of the most hated characters in the Franchise is Dolores Umbridge. The crooked Headmistress had her own way of imposing rules and regulations on the students. These included nailing up posters about her new rules across the campus. And interestingly, players can find these rules on some walls in the game.

8) Voldemort’s book

References surely will not be complete without Voldemort in the magical universe. Remember the Secrets of the Darkest Art book? Tom Riddle used this book to learn about the Horcruxes. And when you sneak into the library with Sebastian Sallow and interact with the book, Sebastian shows an interest in it. Is it an indication of something regarding the Dark Lord and Sallow? You have to play the game to know this.

7) Chess pieces

One of the most iconic scenes of the Sorcerer’s Stone movie was the Chess battle that Ron had. The massive and quite lively chess pieces can be found within Hogwart’s legacy. You just need to go back into the room of requirements where you first spotted the Vanishing cabinet.

6) Chamber of Secrets

Talking about the movies, one of the most fan-favored ones in the franchise is the second installment. And since the game was out, many were asking the question of whether they can get into the Chamber of Secrets. You can find the girls’ toilet where the stairs which descend to the Chamber are present. Though players cannot go to the chamber, casting Revelio will pull out a note indicating its presence.

5) Hufflepuff Vinegar

Trespassing is not taken lightly in the game. Though you engage in the activity quite often. But if you go near the Hufflepuff common room, it surely has an interesting way to punish you. Not only do the barrels let you in, but they pour vinegar on you. This is, if you belong to a different house.

4) The Goblet of Fire

The fourth installment of the Franchise witnessed other Wizardry schools coming to Hogwarts. The popular Goblet of Fire was unveiled to the audience at this time. And you can find it in the game as well. Head over to the Grand Staircase Tower and then to the Trophy room. There you can spot the casket that holds the Goblet.

3) Hermione’s potion

Who can forget the hilarious scene where Harry and Ron disguised themselves as Crabbe and Goyle to trick Draco? This was all thanks to Hermione, who though was not benefited from the potion. And in one of the bathroom stalls in the game, you can find the potion-brewing cauldron. This is a subtle homage to that aforementioned scene.

2) The Slytherin Common Room squid

The Slytherin common room is underwater. And way before the release of the game, the devs posted that one should not knock on the glasses there. And if you do so, a giant squid hand bashes against the wall. You can see the full tentacle in the free cam mode as well.

1) Fred and George

Two of the most wholesome characters in the franchise are Ron’s twin brothers, Fred and George. Both were always seen together and were only separated in the latter movies of the franchise. If you go to Hogsmeade in the game, you can find two ginger head NPC twins running around. This is a subtle reference to the popular twin combo from the franchise.
