1) Multiplayer Mode

Let’s first address the elephant in the room. Demands for a multiplayer mode by Hogwarts fans have been echoing the internet since the game’s launch. Currently, the game has only a single-player campaign. And as the 30+ hour storyline comes to an end, chances are many may lose interest in the game. A multiplayer mode will alleviate any such problems.

Currently, there are some interesting multiplayer fan-made projects which are showing promise. So, if the reception of a fan-made project is getting massive reviews, imagine the wave of excitement an official one can get.

Another concept along the same lines is the PvP modes. Imagine a duel against your friends while you don your wizardry robes. Priceless!

2) Quidditch

The massive sporting event that we all got to see in the wondrous Harry Potter movies is missing from the game. The field is there, the flying brooms are there, but no Quidditch event. And unfortunately, the developers have stated that the unique event won’t be featured in the game. Even the principal is seen talking in the same regard when we start playing the game. This has gotten fans disappointed and if a surprise DLC regarding this comes out, it surely will be a hit.

3) Abundant nature’s beauty

The game surely is appreciated for its mystical creatures and unique scenery. And there is no harm in adding more to the mix. Imagine more mystical creatures, like the Thunderbird which we got to see in “Fantastic Beasts, and Where to Find Them”. Or even some insane boss fights with mystical natural creatures deep in the Forbidden forest. This would only add more beauty to the current state of the game.

4) Chamber of Secrets

Arguably one of the most popular films in the franchise is the second installment, Chamber of Secrets. The place where Harry fought the Serpent, and where we got to see the young Tom Riddle. Since the launch, fans were asking whether they can find the mystical chambers in the game. Apparently, you can find the girls’ common toilets where the chamber’s entrance is. But you cannot enter it.

Casting Revilio will pull out a note stating the existence of the chambers. If a DLC featuring a series of missions to unearth the secrets of the chambers comes out, it surely will be an interesting addition.

5) London and the Muggle life

The wizarding world actually lies in close quarters with the non-magic one, popularly known as the Muggle world. Places like Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic can make a grand entrance to the game to showcase the thin line between the two worlds. An open-world exploration of London, which is sort of like the setting of the Harry Potter world, will be a silver addition for the fans.

6) The Tri-Wizard Tournament

We got to witness the biggest inter-school event of the franchise in Goblet of Fire. Infamous for its risk and dangerous setting, the tournament resulted in the deaths of many competitors. But as it is a place for the three top European Wizarding schools to meet- Hogwarts, Beauxbatons, and Durmstrang, the event was brought back with a lot of new laws. But we all knew how that ended in the franchise.

It would be interesting to see the school rivalries coming to the scene in the game. And moreover, the various unique challenges would be a cherry on top.

7) Romance

The narrative of the game is largely orienting friendship relationships. But even Harry Potter films showcased a large variety of romance between the characters. So, it would be an interesting way to introduce more content into the game. But, the developers will surely have to dread carefully when dealing with such things.

8) New year, new academia

A second year as the same character would be a fitting continuation of the narrative. More new academia filled with spells, new NPC characters, and many more additions will surely retain the player base of the game.

9) New Locales to explore

The game doesn’t go much into exploring the various localities of the Harry Potter world. Yes, we can go to Hogsmeade and the Forbidden Forest, but there are a lot more local places that are in the franchise. Maybe the addition of Merepeople and the Black Lake would do wonders for the game and the fans.

10) AI Companions

The players get a handful of friends from playing the game. These include Sebastian Sallow of Slytherin, Natsai Onai from Gryffindor, Poppy Sweeting from Hufflepuff, and Amit Thakkar from Ravenclaw. Though you spend some missions with these fellow Hogwarts characters, they won’t follow you around.

It would be a good addition if these people can be a companion of the wizards throughout the wizarding journey. Necessarily, any NPC can fill in the role, while keeping in mind to not scrutinize the narrative.
