Timothy John Betar, popularly known as TimtheTatman in showbiz, has once again spoken about his ex-streaming platform. For those uninitiated, Tim parted ways with Twitch back in September due to its horrendous policies. He always felt that the purple platform was not doing justice to its users, as it never helped him when he needed it the most. Hence, he moved to YouTube gaming, where he felt right.

But that does not mean he’s stopped complaining about Twitch. Apparently, his fans have spotted him bad-mouthing the streaming platform multiple times in his streams. Now, with a new ad policy being introduced, Tim has once again spoken about the issue.

TimTheTatman opens up about Twitch’s unnecessary policies

Fans spotted TimTheTatman opening up about Twitch in of his recent streams. Before starting his Warzone and Valorant sessions, he spoke to his chat about the new ad policy from Twitch.

Tim did not approve of it as he felt that the platform was robbing the streamers instead of supporting them. Hence, he was happy to have walked out at the right time, creating a better life for himself. In his introductory lines, he said, ‘Am I going to go on a tangent about Twitch? I just feel I do this every day.’

He then spoke about the ad revenue split up between the streamer and Twitch. Here’s what he said:

‘Twitch is giving a set money amount to run ‘X’ amount of ads per hour. One minute of ads per hour is $22 dollars. Two minutes of ads per hour is $24. Three minutes of ads per hour $26.’ ‘All I can say is, thank the lord above that I am on YouTube right now, holy f**k. And aren’t they lowering sub-revenue split for the smaller creators or some s**t like that too?’

It was a very long chat as he also mentioned how it would affect the upcoming streamers that had less audience. In conclusion, he just thanked the Lord for getting him out at the right time, as it would’ve affected his career a lot.

Ludwig shares a heartfelt moment as he walks off into a new chapter of his life!

Twitch seems to be going through a dark time as multiple streamers have complained about their unrealistic policies. Out of all popular streamers, Ludwig even uploaded a video talking to his fans about the purple platform. He opened up about how Twitch neglected his presence, even after becoming one of the top contributors to them. The Smash Bros. pro also spoke about how Twitch did not bother to hold him back, even after posting staggering earnings under months on the platform. 

Ludwig posted the video after his last stream, as he was ready to walk out after three years. Now the streamer has joined YouTube gaming and is highly enjoying this new chapter in his life.
