Starfield is making things happen. The Xbox exclusive has been the first major intellectual property of Bethesda Games in almost thirty years and the wait seems to be worth it. The expansive new game recorded six million players within a couple of days of release, making it the biggest release by the studio ever. Moreover, the game was topping several charts even before its release. Only last week, Starfield also topped the UK Boxed Charts in terms of physical sales.

Starfield boosts Xbox sales

Starfield has been performing well in the UK since it was released. The new 1Tb Xbox Series S model accounted for 24% of all Xbox consoles sold in the UK this week. While the model has been slammed for its poor performance on multiple occasions, its recent sales numbers are undoubtedly encouraging for Microsoft. While the bigger hard drive did help to increase sales of the Xbox Series S models, it has also gained a lot of advantages thanks to Starfield. According to the source, the Bethesda title has helped to increase the number of Xbox Series X sales by 46%, which isn’t too shabby either.
