And many fans and fellow streamers, including the Twitch streamer HasanAbi, suggested names for her community. But the one suggested by the political streamer didn’t impress the YouTube Queen.

Rachell Hofstetter, better known as Valkyrae, is one of the most famous female streamers in the world right now. In 2020, she reached her peak, becoming the most watched female streamer. As a result, she also won the Streamer of the Year that year. Currently, Rae has over 3.73 million subscribers.

Valkyrae didn’t like the community name suggested by HasanAbi

Naming the fan community is a common trend among content creators and streamers. Like PewDiePie and Disguised Toast’s fan bases are called The Bro Army and Toasters respectively, most big-time internet personalities have a name.

Valkyrae didn’t have a name for her fans for a long time. So, the political streamer HasanAbi took it upon himself to name Rae’s community and came up with the name ‘Raecists.’ And it is clearly visible why a name like this can create chaos amongst the people.

However, the 30-year-old wasn’t happy about this name for her fan community. So, Valkyrae confronted Hasan about the name he suggested. She said, “We are not the Raecist. We cannot be Raecist. That is triggering for many people. It is stupid, and we cannot do that.”

Valkyrae might have rejected Hasan’s suggested name for her community. But the 30-year-old has already named her fans an exciting name. However, it took her seven years to name her community. A few months back, Rae announced on her stream that her fans would be called ‘Raebies.’

Her community suggested Raebies on multiple occasions, but she used to hate it. However, she eventually started liking it and decided to stick with it. Her friends questioned if her fans would like to be called this, Valkyrae answered, “We’re gonna infect sh*t and raid with our disease!”
