The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is one of Nintendo Switch’s best-selling games. On the other hand, this game might just be one of the most influential games of modern times. Fans have known its main characters for years, and they have been the inspiration for numerous cosplayers as well.

But some fans tend to take their dedication to cosplaying certain characters to a whole new level. One person did just that with their latest idea for Link’s cosplay.

Link’s right arm in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is not particularly his own. He was given that arm by none other than King Rauru himself, the ancient king of the Zonai people.

Rauru is not alive when players start the game or when Link loses sight of Princess Zelda. As Ganon awakes and destroys the Master Sword along with Link’s arm, Rauru’s hand appears out of nowhere and rescues him.

Eventually, Rauru himself makes his way to Link and explains the significance of that arm, and gifts it to Link. Every ability that Link gains in this game comes from that arm. Hence, it is indeed the most important part of this game.

Maybe that is why this cosplayer decided to start with Rausru’s arm. They somehow designed this arm around their own prosthetic hand and posted a video on the internet to show fellow Zelda fans their progress. And the response to this unique design has been much more than positive.

The arm itself actually moves like a very detailed piece of mechanical art, and it also lights up when the person moves their fingers. It truly is a very lifelike replica of Link’s right hand, and it would be glorious to see when this complete cosplay comes together.

The reaction to this arm has been pretty good!

Many fans who got to see this hand in action were pretty enthusiastic about it. Some even praised the amount of work that went into making this arm. While others made it a point to let people know that it is not Link’s arm but an arm that Rauru gave Link.
