According to Metacritic, Battlefield 4 scores a remarkable score of 85. On the contrary, Battlefield 2042 could only manage a score of 68 on the site. Thus, the score when compared to the latest release considering all the advancements the developers have made in terms of graphics and innovations showcases the potential of the 2013 release.
