The Critically-Acclaimed Colors Art Series Third Installment Is Out On Switch today With SonarPen

The third installment of the popular Colors Series (by Yoku’s Island Express and Jens Andersson (Chronicles of Riddick director) is out on the Switch now. This time, it comes bundled with a SonarPen accessory. It is a brand new stylus that can be easily plugged into the headphone port of the Nintendo Switch to give users pressure-sensitive drawing and that too without any Bluetooth connection or batteries.

The Colors Live comes with a Quest Mode to receive daily challenges. Players have to paint a picture based on the set theme to complete the challenge. But there is a catch. There will be different rules for every challenge, such as paint only in grayscale. These small daily challenges sound interesting, to be honest.

Colors Live website facilitates the sharing of paintings

People can share their work with the world as well. They can upload their painting on the Colors Live website where other people can rate and comment on them. Users can watch the full video of the artwork to get some tips on how they were painted exactly from scratch. This feature allows the new learners to learn some cool tips and tricks.

The Colors Live is available in digital as well as physical formats. The physical edition comes with the accessory (SonarPen). The physical copy is available at stores across Europe and North America, including Best Buy, Amazon, Targets, Walmart and Game Stop. The digital version of the game can be purchased from the Nintendo shop for $29.99 / £24.99. It can be controlled with figures, so you do not need any extra accessories for this one.

Nintendo DS created the very first game in this popular series and it was a great hit back then. It shortly became one of the best apps on Nintendo DC and crossed the million mark. Next, the sequel named Colors 3D was released on the Nintendo 3D EShop and was critically acclaimed by many people.

The game got as popular and as much love as the first one. According to Metacritic ranking, it is the 10th highest scored 3D game of all time. And Colors Live is a great addition to the series.
