The Embark Studios’ big open beta launch is now available across both the current gen consoles, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The game is accessible on Steam. The initial hours of the beta launch faced some strong complaints about the bugs and server load. Thus, the developers asked for some time to work on the issues. A few hours later, The Finals announced fixing the issues, and the game was ‘good to go’. Thanks for being so patient with us as we sorted out a few hickups!”, they wrote on X.

For some fans, the fixes made in the game invited another gameplay issue. A lot of beta players complained about being unable to access the friend invitations on the first launch. The developers were quick to address the common complaint, and they briefed about the same in a follow-up tweet. They wrote, Due to the nature of the latest fix on Xbox and PlayStation there is a known issue with Friend Invitations on first launch, this should however resolve if both parties reboot their clients (that’s the game!)”
