The ongoing year of 2023 just keeps getting better for gaming lovers. Following the massive success of Gamescom 2023, another gaming carnival is set to unload the next pack of surprises. As the Tokyo Game Show 2023 countdown has begun, fans have started speculating what’s next in the most exciting e-sporting year. Well, fueling all these emotions, Xbox has a statement for the event’s host. 

There have been plenty of rumors running around the announcements to be made at the convention. Being a follow-up to Germany’s gaming carnival in August, the Tokyo Game Show is expected to introduce an all-new chapter to the gaming lineup in the coming months. Moreover, with the elite list of names set to feature in the Japanese event, all the buzz around seems viable. Now, the Xbox chief leaves the community intrigued after teasing what Microsoft is bringing to the table at the upcoming carnival. 

Microsoft to make some exciting revelations?

Phile Spencer, the gaming head for Microsoft has ignited another set of rumors with his recent message. In his latest public address, the Xbox chief gave some insights on what to expect from Microsoft at the Japanese Game Show. “We’re thrilled to be back at the Tokyo Game Show this year with the Xbox digital broadcast. We invite players in Japan and around the world to tune in to Xbox Social channels on Thursday, the 21st of September at 6 PM, Japan Standard Time”, the man said in the address.

Adding on, Phil Spencer gave some hints of Xbox plans for the carnival. “We will share updates from our Studios and a diverse lineup of games from creators predominantly located in Japan and across Asia. The future of Xbox in Japan is bright and we can’t wait to share these updates with all of you. From everyone at Team Xbox, we hope you have a great Tokyo Gam Show”, he further briefed.

The highly awaited Tokyo Game Show 2023 has already started dominating the social media trends. And Microsoft is all invested to cash into the hype built around the festival. 

Xbox is the highlight among the giant features

After years of Covid restriction, the event will be at its maximum capacity in “Asia’s gaming hub”. The lineup of giant labels making their presence at the event is just a reminder of the scale of the event. These names include Bandai Namco, Capcom, Kojima Productions, Konami, Square Enix, PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, and many more. 

However, it wouldn’t be surprising if Xbox managed to grab the major fan spotlight. The plausible reason for this is the golden run Microsoft has been having post the launch of Starfield. The console giants have been trying their level best to carry on to the buzz that was created by the Xbox exclusive launch.
