Finally! The moment of truth is here. The moment you all have been waiting for almost a year is upon us. And this year’s Game of the Year 2021 goes to none other than fan-favorite It Takes Two. After much deliberations, It Takes Two has been officially crowned as the Game of The Year 2021 at The Game Awards, winning out over Deathloop, Metroid Dread, Psychonauts 2, Ratchet, and Clank: Rift Apart, and Resident Evil Village.

From spousal teamwork to one-on-one street fighter showdown, It Takes Two has it all. The game follows a married couple who were at the edge of divorce trapped in the bodies of two toys, made by their daughter.

It was indeed a very emotional and proud moment for the entire development team of It Takes Two. Josef Fares thanked the team and his family after taking a dig at the Oscars once again. Above all, he dedicated the award to his daughters. The reaction was ultimate.
