‘When We Are In Need’: The Last of Us Episode that took Bella Ramsey to her first Emmy nomination

According to her latest revelation in an interview, the episode titled, ‘When We Are In Need’ won her the debut Emmy nomination. The second last episode of the nine-episode season 1 was released on the 5th of March 2023. The episode is written by the show’s co-creator Craig Mazin and directed by Ali Abbasi. The eighth episode has been a standout of the season. It seems like the selection committee was also in agreement with the audience. 

The developing bond of a father-daughter duo, Ellie and Joel tested their limits in the episode. The character of Ellie takes charge of guarding the injured Joel from a threatening group of attackers seeking revenge.
