‘The Last of Us’ Star Bella Ramsey Claims the Season Finale Will “Divide People Massively”

It is hard to believe that The Last of Us is only one episode away from the season finale. There is already a lot of hype for the remaining two episodes of this ongoing show on HBO Max. The show has taken the audience on a roller coaster ride of emotions, so fans should expect some great performances in the upcoming episodes.

There are already speculations that the season finale would feature Ellie’s mother, Anna. The original Ellie, Ashley Johnson, would be portraying this character. But the Ellie on this HBO adaptation, Bella Ramsey, has also hyped up the much-awaited season finale, claiming it will divide the fanbase.

Bella Ramsey recently attended the Paris Fashion Week, where she got a lot of attention. The 19-year-old is a famous actress known for her work in Game of Thrones and Catherine Called Birdy. But she has been propelled to a new spectrum of popularity after appearing as Ellie on The Last of Us.

So it was impossible for the 19-year-old to be not questioned about her latest role. She was asked about many things related to Ellie. But Vogue asked the young actress to share her thoughts on the much-awaited season finale. Ramsey reported, “It’s going to divide people massively–massively.”

Aside from the season finale, the actress also talked about the upcoming Episode 8. She claimed it would be one of the most violent episodes of the show, and was “exhausting” for her to shoot. But she also claimed that they were some of her “favorite days on set.”

Why the season finale could divide the audience?

The fans who have played the PlayStation title are aware of the first game’s end, where Joel takes the toughest call of his life. He needs to choose whether he would save Ellie or sacrifice her for the much-wanted cure.

If the show follows what happens in the game, then it would leave the audience questioning their morals. It would be a tough choice for anybody, whether they choose their loved one or the existence of the entire humanity. We can speculate how this can divide the audience.
