In an interview, composer Gustavo Santaolalla seemingly confirmed a remastered version of Last of Us 2 will be coming to PlayStation 5.

During an interview, Santaolalla spoke of his easter egg in the game. Those who already made their way through Last of Us 2 know about the cameo, an easter egg where players approach a guitarist. This is none other than Gustavo Santaolalla.

During the interview, the composer went back to this cameo. He spoke of a new feature, where players choose what song the character plays in-game. This feature will be available in the new version. Following this, Santaolalla refused to elaborate, saying he can not do so. Fans think the new version is nothing other than a remastered version of the game for the PlayStation 5.
