However, fans were worried that the release of Counter-Strike 2 put an end to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Much to fans’ surprise, developers brought back the Maps Workshop in CS2.

Now they do not need to worry anymore. Valve recently started its dedicated CS2 Workshop, where players now can create custom maps for CS2 and let other players dive into their adventurous map for more fun. So, let’s have a look at the latest updates developers brought in the Maps Workshop of CS2.

Counter-Strike 2’s Maps Workshop is finally live for the players

Counter-Strike is surely one of those franchises, which offer unbelievable freedom to players to show their creativity. The Maps workshop is surely one of them as players create customized maps, and character skins and add them for others to enjoy as well. Yes! This Maps Workshop is back for Counter-Strike 2 players. Recently, Counter-Strike 2’s X (Formerly Twitter) profile shared the link to the Maps Workshop’s page link with fans. This page further added that Community Maps finally returned to CS2 players- “Welcome back, Community maps.”

Not only that but the page offers players a quick guide to the developments made in the CS2’s Maps Workshop. It begins with the message- “The Maps workshop is now open for business.” Developers enabled the feature where CS2 players can upload their customized maps like good old times. Community servers can host these maps.

CS2 Makes It Onto the Las Vegas Sphere in an Edited Clip, Amidst Xbox and PlayStation Advertising Battles

The toggle is finally added in CS2 Community Maps. Using Automatic PBR Color Correction, players can toggle any sticker type in their Item Editor. Additionally, CS2 players can see more updates in Workshop tools with Various Item Editors. How Cool is that?

Fans are over the moon getting back Maps Workshop in Counter-Strike 2

Since this Maps Workshop was introduced in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, fans loved it. It brought them an amazing creative kick to make maps and explore the battleground explicitly. Now this feature returning in CS2 made fans truly happy. People wrote- “finally my teammates will know i have a crippling gambling addiction once again.” Fans dropped hilarious memes in happiness referring to the weapon sway feature.
