In the match between EYEBALLERS and The Spirit Academy, the latter pulled off an insane team stack-up AWP combo during their match. One player on top of the other made a 3 man stack where ArtFr0st got on top of his fellow teammates to snipe down each of Eyeballers team members. This insane tactic has shocked and surprised the community.

But interestingly, it is not the first time something like this has happened.

Throwback to the infamous Fnatic disqualification

The first time this stunt was performed was many years ago by the popular CS: GO franchise Fnatic. Their infamous stunt won them the quarter-finals, but they were forced to forfeit the tournament as the stack-up was deemed illegal by the rules.

During the DreamHack Winter 2014, Fnatic was to face team LDLC.com. The two were considered the most dangerous teams in the tournament and it was a shocker for everyone when both met in the quarter-finals of the tournament. Unofficially, many from the community thought the winner of this match would go on to claim the title of the tournament.

Soon after the match ensued, LDLC showcased tremendous prowess to take the Map 1 Dust. This was followed by the Fnatic winning Cache. Everything trickled down to Map 3, Overpass. As it was a new map, it was the perfect neutral ground for them to face. And this is when the Oloftboost first happened.

LDLC was dominating the first half of the match when Fnatic cooked up a plan to stack up and let Olofmeister take down each member of the French team. They stacked up and confused the opponents and took back the match to win it. Later, it was deemed that they broke the rules of the game, as this act was illegal and had to forfeit.

Now, the current stunt that was pulled by Spirit Academy had many reminiscing about that meta-changing event that Olofmeister pulled off in 2014.

Unfortunately, Spirit Academy lost to the EYEBALLERS 0-2 in this match.
