For more than 300 days now the world is seeing a war waging in the “Northern Eurasian belt” as Russia is trying to capture Ukraine through “annexation”. Recent reports suggest that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants the war to “end” now as soon as possible, and is ready for a diplomatic talk with Ukraine “over a ceasefire”. However, it seems that Ukraine might not be that forgiving about the losses they endured during this 10-month-long war. With a recent meeting with US President Joe Biden and having a deep discussion about the “defensive” tactics for Ukraine, it seems that the war might take a sudden turn very soon.

Thus, political commentator Hasan Piker is also very curious about what the real talks are between US President Joe Biden and the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Joe Biden announces financial aid of $4.05 billion to Ukraine

The recent visit by the Ukrainian President to the United States Capitol is a huge reason why Russian President Vladimir Putin has suddenly changed his take on the war and is “ready for talk” over the 10-month-long ongoing war. However, as Russia seems to take a step back, Ukraine seems to plan a step forward to make its move clear about being independent of “bullies”.

Joe Biden said during the Joint Press Conference on December 21, 2022, at the White House East Briefing Room, “And as I said when Putin rolled his tanks into Ukraine in February: American — American people are prepared to have us stand up to bullies, stand up for freedom. That’s who we are as Americans. And that’s exactly what we’ve done.”

The United States has announced an additional $1.85 billion to cover the military expenses of Ukraine. “Today, I’m announcing the next tranche of our security assistance to Ukraine: $1.85 billion package of security assistance that includes both direct transfers of equipment to — that Ukraine needs, as well as contracts to supply ammunition Ukraine will need in the months ahead for its artillery, its tanks, and its rocket launchers,” said Joe Biden.

Biden further stated, “Altogether, today’s new security assistance with humanitarian funding amounts to $2.2 billion in additional support for the Ukrainian people.”

Hasan Piker thinks the US is giving away too much in aid

However, the main question that arises now is why the US has to spend so much money on Ukraine rather than using it to develop its own economy. Thus, Hasan Piker blames Russian President Vladimir Putin for the US spending so much money on Ukraine, which is obvious.

In his recent stream, Hasan Piker said, “If you want to get mad, a lot of you get mad at like f**king Zelenskyy or whatever, some leftists will, but the main f**king person, the reason why you have to f**king watch American dollars get funneled into Ukraine with weapons that are untraceable is Vladimir Putin. That’s the real reason.”

However, he further described that since Russia is being cornered by NATO on matters with Ukraine, the Russian government is trying to save itself from getting involved in a bigger war. Thus, Russia is trying to “galvanize” NATO and is actually getting success in it. Therefore, America is trying to make those aids, in order to maintain the global order and “world peace.

“I agree with [the] NATO quarter in Russia, okay? That is a real thing that was happening, but the response is insane. Like Russia’s response is what? To galvanize NATO? Legitimize their position? Good job. Very cool,” said Piker.
